Indications:

KLARCOF LS is used for the symptomatic treatment of:

• Wet or productive cough
• Bronchitis (acute and chronic)
• Asthmatic cough
• Respiratory conditions with thick mucus
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disorders (COPD) involving airway congestion

Composition (Per 5 ml)

• Levosalbutamol Sulphate IP equivalent to Levosalbutamol 1 mg
• Ambroxol Hydrochloride IP 30 mg
• Guaiphenesin IP 50 mg
• Flavoured syrupy base: q.s.
• KLARCOF LS Syrup is a triple-action cough formulation developed to provide quick relief in cases of wet cough associated with respiratory congestion. Each 5 ml dose combines:
• Levosalbutamol, a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles and improves airflow.
• Ambroxol, a mucolytic agent that helps break down and clear thick mucus from the lungs and throat.
• Guaiphenesin, an expectorant that further thins and loosens mucus, aiding productive coughing.

This combination not only addresses the mucus buildup but also reduces coughing spasms and eases breathing. The syrup is generally well-tolerated and offers a balanced approach to managing cough with mucus, especially in pediatric and adult cases where airway obstruction and expectoration are concerns.
